Pintail Candles are a family run business based in the small village of Flookburgh in South Lakeland. Pintail Candles was one of the first independent candle companies in the UK to produce candle tins, a product with which they have been associated with ever since! All their candles are hand poured in the UK and fragranced with the finest natural fragrances and essential oils. The beautiful scenery and wildlife surrounding the workshop in the Lake District is always a source of inspiration for the design and fragrances created by Pintail Candles. Pintail Candles is now firmly established as one of the UK's leading candle manufacturers and this has been achieved by creating unique, affordable products with an undeniable state of quality and finish.

This lovely candle has the distinctive aroma of home made gingerbread, with warming notes of cinnamon and clove combined with rich stem ginger and a base of sweet vanilla and syrup.

    Candle Burning Advice

The first time you light your candle you should have enough time to burn it for 3-4 hours (less for smaller votive candles) so that a large melt pool is formed across the entire top surface of the candle. Maintaining a large melt pool will give an excellent scent and make the most of your candle. If you burn your candle for shorter periods (especially on the first burn) the candle can create “memory rings” which restrict the subsequent size of the melt pool. For a perfect candle burn, keep your wicks trimmed regularly to prevent a tall flame which is essential for a clean, smoke free burn.
